By using PawLapse you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the app.
What PawLapse is
PawLapse uses artificial intelligence to generate portraits of your dog at other ages, based on a photo you provide. Every portrait is AI-generated. It is an artistic likeness, not a prediction of how your dog will look, and results vary.
Photos you provide
- Only photos of dogs. The app refuses photos of people and other animals, and you agree not to try to work around that.
- You must own the photo or have permission to use it.
- You keep all rights to your photo. You give us permission to process it, and to pass it to our AI provider, solely to make your portraits.
Your portraits
You may use the portraits PawLapse makes for you for any personal purpose, including sharing and printing. Portraits carry a small "AI portrait" mark on previews and shared reels so viewers know they are generated.
Purchases
- HD portraits and life stories are bought as one-time in-app purchases through Apple. Prices are shown before you buy.
- Credits are tied to the phone they were bought on and do not expire.
- If a portrait cannot be generated, the credit is returned automatically. Refunds of the payment itself are handled by Apple under the App Store's terms.
- One free preview is included per phone.
Acceptable use
Do not use PawLapse to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or that misrepresents a real animal's health or condition. We may limit or refuse service to a device that abuses the app.
Availability
PawLapse depends on third-party AI services. We aim to keep it available but cannot promise it will always work. If a job fails, the app tells you and returns your credit.
Liability
PawLapse is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the app or its portraits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
